Lisbon Airport Buses
There are two Aerobus lines which link both terminals of the airport to different areas of the city. The coaches are comfortable, air-conditioned and have free Wi-Fi, USB charging points, access and assistance for people with reduced mobility, and compartments for large luggage.
A single twenty-four-hour ticket costs €4.00 for an adult and €2.00 for children aged four to ten years. A return ticket (2 x 24 hour) is €6.00 adult and €3.00 child. Children under four years of age travel free when accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are valid for unlimited journeys on the Aerobus during the twenty-four hour period. They can be purchased on board the bus or at Turismo de Lisboa desks in the arrivals halls. You can also buy tickets online in advance at a discount with an adult single ticket costing €3.60 and return at €5.40. There are also discounts for groups of four or more people.

Line 1 - Aerobus Line 1 runs every twenty minutes from 07:30 to 19:00 and every twenty-five minutes from 19:00 to 23:00.
The bus stops close to major hotels around the historical centre of the city and the Marques de Pombal area. It also stops at Cais do Sodre station where you can take trains to the coastal areas of Cascais, Estoril and Oeiras. Cais do Sodre also has ferry and Metro links.

Line 2 - Line 2 runs every twenty minutes from 07:40 to 19:00 and every twenty-five minutes from 19:00 to 22:45.
This line serves the main locations around the Marques de Pombal area of Lisbon. For onward connections, it stops at Sete Rios bus terminus and rail station.
As well as local bus services, Rede Expressos buses run to most large cities throughout Portugal and to Seville in Spain.
From the rail station, there are several trains daily to the Algarve in the south and various other destinations.

Municipal Buses
Four local buses, operated by Carris, serve the airport but they have a limit on the size of luggage that can be taken on board of 50 x 40 x 20cm. The bus stops are at Terminal 1.
When brought on board the bus a single ticket costs €1.85. However, if you first buy a Viva Viagem card for €0.50 you can load it with single tickets for €1.45. With the card, a day ticket valid for unlimited travel on buses and the Metro for twenty-four hours costs €6.30.

Line 705 – This links Gare do Oriente station with Roma station at Areeiro via the airport. Buses run Monday to Friday every fifteen to thirty minutes from 06:50 to 20:50. For the full timetable click here.

Line 722 - This is a suburban route which runs from Praça de Londres to Portela via the airport. It operates every twenty to thirty minutes from around 06:50 to 21:00 Monday to Friday and less frequently at weekends. For the full timetable click here.

Line 744 - This runs between Moscavide and Marquês de Pombal via Gare do Oriente and the airport. Buses are every twelve to twenty minutes Monday to Friday from 05:50 to 21:00 with a less frequent service at weekends. For the full timetable click here.

Line 783 - This runs from Prior Velho to the Amoreiras Shopping Centre via the airport. Monday to Friday buses run every fifteen to thirty minutes from around 05:15 to midnight. Services are around every twenty-five minutes on weekends. For the full timetable click here.
